Why are the Soft Technical Skills a new curriculum?
7/17/2016
Most Career & Technical Education curricula are for those in a specific industry, but the Soft Technical Skills curriculum is for those in all industries.  These lesson plans are generic in that they apply to nearly every technician in nearly every career.  Examples are incorporated from all industries to show how competence in the topic is important to everyone.  For example, a shift foreman gets ready to leave Shift A and needs to leave information for the incoming foreman of Shift B.  S/he can leave written words, a verbal message, but at times may need to leave a sketch of a problem encountered, hence, a lesson plan on Graphic Technical Communication.
