Eight continuous hours is the amount of sleep each of us needs very 24-hour period to be healthy and productive on the job, according to Science of Sleep in the July 2018 issue of the National Geographic.  Not two four-hour naps or four two-hour naps, but eight continuous hours in order to accommodate all four stages of normal, refreshing sleep.

Want to fall asleep more easily?  Avoid blue light for several hours before bedtime, especially from screens such as TV, iPad, smart phones, and other such devices.
