What workplace skills will be needed by 2030?
5/27/2018
A new McKinsey Global Institute paper reported how 25 core workplace skills will change in the USA and EU by 2030.  Here’s a synopsis by Lydia Dishman in FAST COMPANY:
> Demand for technological skills, both digital and advance tech, will rise by 55%.
> Demand for social and emotional skills, such as leadership and managing others, will rise by 24%.
> Demand for basic cognitive skills, including basic data input and processing, will decline by 15%.
> Demand for physical and manual skills, which include general equipment operation, will decline by 14%.

Eric Hazan, co-author of the paper, said The watchword of the new era will be adaptability.  Workers, but also companies, will need to be open and embrace new forms of working, new structures, and new approaches in a world of work that will be changing rapidly.

Lesson-Up has online training plans covering these emerging skills needed by workers in the future.
