Do college grads have what employers want?
5/20/2018
Sixty-three percent of recent college graduates say they are well prepared in the soft skills required for job success, while only 14% of employers agree.  What’s missing?  According to Bridging the Soft Skills Gap from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (www.AlleghenyConference.org/SoftSkills), soft skills like commitment/ accountability, written communication, time management, professionalism, and critical thinking/ problem solving are lacking.

In addition, 4 out of 5 recent graduates and 73% of employers say a soft-skills certificate course would help.  Now knowing this, 7 out of 10 graduates say they would have invested significant time for soft skills training while in college.

Lesson-Up has the curriculum.
