7/23/2017
In a recent survey, 75% of FORTUNE 500 CEOs reported that long-term job success depends on people skills, while only 25% depends on technical expertise.  More specifically, digital correspondence requires training.  According to Steve Rossetti in Don’t Let Failing Soft Skills Undermine Your Organization’s Professionalism in Business 2 Community on July 14, 2017, over 120 billion business emails are sent every day.  Grammatical mistakes deteriorate professionalism.  Overtly direct language can sound like someone barking orders.  The language used in the workplace and with customers can have a serious impact on success.

The Soft Technical Skills lesson on Written Technical Communication includes digital correspondence and is always available at www.Lesson-Up.net.
