Which of these bad work habits are throttling your career?
3/19/2017
David Maxfield of VitalSmarts – a corporate training firm – asked managers what the top career killers were.  They identified these five bad habits that can kill a career, or at least keep you from getting raises and promotions:
> Being disorganized and unreliable – No planning or coordination
> Doing too little too late – Procrastination and cutting corners
> Deflecting blame – It’s not my job.
> Being unwilling to change – Dragging their feet
> Having a bad attitude – Cynical and negative
Habits are powerful workplace behaviors.  We can devolve into bad habits easily.  Being aware of these habits is the first step in changing them.
The lesson plan on Climbing the Career Ladder gives more details.
