Want to blow the whistle anonymously?
3/5/2017
Who doesn’t!  First choice: Anonymously send your tip with evidence, not just a hunch, to the newspaper(s) of your choice via the USPS.

Second choice: Anonymously send your tip with evidence, not just a hunch, to the recently-launched USA Today Network at http://newstips.usatoday.com.  Place your tip in SecureDrop.  The site allows whistle blowers to securely provide documents to investigative reporters.  The site does not log the sender’s IP address, browser, or computer.  It minimizes the metadata trail between sources and reporters, and encrypts data while in transit and at rest.  The system follows security best practices, and there are no third parties to the document transaction – the server sits completely inside the USA Data Network.  On the other side, SecureDrop may be accessed by investigative reporters in a broad range of newspapers and news sources.

The lesson plan on Whistle Blowing has been duly updated.
