How are recruiters assessing soft skills?
2/12/2017
Increasingly employers are looking for job applicants with soft skills.  Do you have "grit” – the ability to stick with it when things get difficult?  Professional athletes refer to this as "mental toughness.”  Are you "change agile” – able to adapt quickly to changes on the job?  If so, be ready with anecdotes – examples of what you did – to illustrate your soft technical skills during a job interview.

In addition to traditional interview techniques, recruiters are also openly using predictive hiring software such as Berke (www.berkeassessment.com) and Koru (www.joinkoru.com) to highlight applicants with desired soft skills.  And recruiters want applicants to know about these to help showcase soft technical skills.  It makes successful recruiting easier.
