Are you a solopreneur?
12/4/2016
We saw many of you at the recent ACTE Conference in Las Vegas – over 4,500 of us showed up.

While there, we learned a term new to us: solopreneur.  This is an entrepreneur who creates a paying job for one’s self.  A teenager down the street who mows lawns or baby sits is an example.  For many of us, this is how we first learned about the world of work.  You probably know several professionals who are solopreneurs: designers, editors, proof readers, reviewers, writers, consultants, advisors, evaluators, lecturers, coaches, tutors, and others.  Daily, these people work alone or with a few contracted associates to produce results and get paid with an invoice.  The forthcoming lesson on Self-employment has details.
